How Spray Foam Insulation Warner Robins Works

Spray Foam Insulation Warner Robins insulates and air seals homes, crawl spaces, shops and metal buildings in Warner Robins and the towns around it. We spray open-cell and closed-cell foam, seal and insulate attics, encapsulate damp crawl spaces, blow in cellulose and fiberglass, and remove old insulation that has failed.

In Middle Georgia the long, humid cooling season does most of the damage. Attics bake in July and push heat down into the rooms below, especially where the air handler and ductwork sit up there. Vented crawl spaces pull in muggy air that condenses on cool ducts and floor framing. So every visit starts in those two places. We measure what is in the attic, look for gaps around ducts, can lights, bath fans and the attic stairs, and check the ductwork. Under the house we look for standing water, wet wood, fallen batts, open vents and signs of termites or other pests.

Then we put a plan in writing. Each area gets its own line with the material, the thickness or depth, the target R-value and the price. When there is more than one sensible way to handle a space, such as a sealed attic with foam under the roof deck versus air sealing and blowing more insulation on the attic floor, we show both and explain the trade-offs.

How we run a job

  • Visit first. No price until we have seen the attic and crawl space.
  • Moisture before insulation. Standing water, leaks and wet framing get dealt with before anything is sealed in.
  • Seal, then insulate. Air leaks are closed before new insulation covers them.
  • Leave room to inspect. Georgia has heavy termite pressure, so we plan foam around the foundation so the sill area can still be checked.
  • Protect the house. Floors and belongings are covered and the work area is ventilated.
  • Changes in writing. If something new shows up, we stop, talk it through and write it down.
